Why is it that just when I think I’ve finalised something, and I’m ready to publish it, I then spend another 20 minutes tearing it to pieces and re-adding things?
I finally reached the point that I’m sick of thinking about it, so without further ado, here’s this year’s list.
Hobby
- Learn Calligraphy
- Read/list to 12 books
- Finish an online course
- Organise my craft drawers
- Frame my word of the year
- Finish hanging photos around the house
- Use my SUP
- Start a language course on Duolingo
- Complete a craft project using a new technique
- Read the book “Atomic Habits” (separate from the other reading goal)
- Complete a crochet or cross-stitch project
Fitness
- Run 5km non-stop
- Complete my first marathon
- Complete a strength training project
- Run more kilometres than last year in 2023 Run Down Under (current mileage to date: 3,838.23. I need to export all my activities and work out what my 2023 total was though)
- Start a 1km intentional daily run streak
- Participate in Park Run regularly again
- Complete a squat challenge
- Complete a pushup challenge
- Complete a plank challenge
- Lose 10kg
Health and Well-Being
- Regularly spend time meal planning
- Get a breast scan
- Continue my care plan with my dentist (I have a buttload of fillings to get, and a crown)
- Get a massage
- Get a pedicure
- Get my eyebrows done
- Cook 10 new meals
- Get a pap smear
- Try a new cleaning routine
- Clean out my wardrobe (revisit clothes I’ve put away)
- Get out of my comfort zone
Family/Relationship
- Reinstate regular date nights
- Go hiking with my family
- Get professional family photos
- Go for a family bike ride
- Go fruit picking
Travel
- Visit someone I haven’t seen for a long time
- have a weekend away with my husband
- Have a weekend away with my family
- Go camping where we’ve never been before

- Take the caravan on holidays more often

- Buy some recovery thongs/flip flops (for post-long run)
