After what can only be described as the most whirlwind week of my life, we are off on our honeymoon! The wedding is done and dusted, and it’s now time to kick back and relax with each other to celebrate the start of our wedded life together.
I plan to write about the wedding while on the plane to recap all the events , but images will be a little scarc. I’m banking on the fact that my friends love me enough to steal their images, with full credit of course 🙂 It will be about 8 weeks before we get any official images back from our photographer, but based on the sneak peeks that’s I’ve seen they promise to be spectacular!
The entire day of our wedding passed by in a blur, but I do remember thinking that everything was absolutely spectacular. The day went off without any issues, and everyone had such a wonderful time. It’s bizarre how we spent so much time over the past 11 months planning so much detail of our wedding, when on the day I noticed barely any of it. Looking back I don’t regret a thing, because even though I didn’t notice, my friends and family did. There I see a story behind every bit of decoration that we had, and that’s what I hope to share in the coming weeks.
We arrived this morning early, and have spent the time relaxing in the Qantas business lounge courtesy of some complimentary passse they’d organised for us to celebrate our honeymoon. It’s been divine; we have had breakfast and a pot of tea, and have a spectacular view over the terminal and the runway. I’ve enjoyed sitting up here like a queen watching the planes take off and land!
But now it’s time to head to the gate and get ready to board. 9 hours later it will be time to explore!
Adios Australia, look forward to reporting in from Asia!
Woohoo! Super jealous!
Have an amazing honeymoon. Relax, have fun. Can’t wait to hear all about it. 🙂
Have an absolutely amazing time and enjoy every minute of your honeymoon!!! 😙
